EMDR
A healing process that works with the body and brain, unlocking stuck patterns and restoring a sense of calm.
Early in our relationships, our similarities and differences fuel attraction, enrich our lives and deepen our connection to one another. Over time, without conscious work, these same traits can slip into reactive patterns of attack or withdrawal, a painful cycle that often feels outside of our control and works against our best intentions.
Our goal is to help you see these patterns, to understand why we are do what we do, to identify our unmet needs, to honor our true feelings, find new ways to team up against the negative cycle, then transform it. Conflict is an opportunity for repair and intimacy. Ultimately, we can be seen, understood and loved.
Should I stay or should I go? Work though mixed feelings together.
Couples counseling only works if both partners are all in. What if one (or both) is unsure, or actively leaning out?
Our intensive, short-term process provides time individually and together for honest talk and support to work through conflicting feelings while considering three paths forward:
A Separate Peace.
Ending a relationship that isn’t working, is not a personal failure. It can be a sign of strength and and opportunity growth and repair. It’s one kind of paradox – an ending can also be a new beginning for you, for your partner, for your kids.
Make space to de-escalate, find emotional freedom, learn from this relationship and leave feeling empowered and better prepared for relationships to come.
Get expert guidance to help both partners keep kids needs in mind, as you navigate next steps as a team.
Develop skills to make your bi-nuclear family a healthier place for everyone.
